Team JPC & Pets

Mary

Client Care Representative

Mary is a long time Junction Triangle resident and lifelong animal lover.

Her family has been lucky enough to adopt a number of rescues over the

years. Currently they have a beautiful and loving shepherd lab mix, Banjo,

and distinctive and disdainful tabby called Mac. Mary says “Our life is so much

richer because of our furry family members and our kids get two extra

siblings!”. Working with dogs, cats and their people in our beautiful and

colourful neighbourhood is pretty much the perfect place for Mary to

spend her days.

Jenna

Veterinary Technician

Having a soft spot for Bully breeds, Jenna and her husband had an American Bulldog mix for 10 years and have now adopted a Bullmastiff-mix. They have previously fostered a Bully-mix puppy and plan to do more fostering in the future.

Jenna loves bird watching and baking cookies. Nothing makes her happier than being surrounded by family, friends and a pack of dogs! Every August she and Yvonne (our RVT) join the Kayaking for Cancer group and kayak from Kingston to Ottawa. 2023 will be her tenth year paddling and raising money for that cause!

As a Technician, Jenna’s days consist of admitting patients for procedures, monitoring anesthesia, collecting blood, educating people on their pet’s care and of course making sure all patients are as comfortable as possible. She believes it is a true honour to care for other people’s family members and Jenna takes that role very seriously.

Yvonne

Registered Veterinary Technician

Yvonne lives with her adopted Pomeranian/Papillion named Kevin and her oldest friend Orion/Baby D (her 12 year old cat that she adopted from tech school; he has Cerebellar Hypoplasia which is also known as Wobbly Cat Syndrome!). In her spare time she loves being outdoors with Kevin and her girlfriend Hannah; travelling, golfing, camping, and hiking. Yvonne is an avid birder and every year in August she and Jenna kayak from Kingston to Ottawa while raising money for the Canadian Cancer Society..

Yvonne graduated from University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus in 2012. The following year she left her hometown of Guelph to join the RVT team at an animal hospital in Toronto where she met Dr. O'Meara and Jenna (our other veterinary technician!). In 2016 Yvonne started working at VEC South in the emergency & surgery departments, where she still works part-time. Yvonne is passionate about pain management, anesthesia, emergency and critical care

Jessie

Patient Care Representative

Jessie comes to our clinic with over 14 years experience as an animal care attendant. She enjoys helping and being around animals of all kinds. In addition to her passion for animals Jessie also loves a good cup of spicy noodles and you’ll often find her with a big cup of coffee in hand! When Jessie isn’t caring for your beloved pets she enjoys hanging out with her son and her cat Bob.

Carly

Patient Care Representative

Carly’s main passion in life is and always has been dogs! She is currently studying in a Veterinary Technician program and hopes to become registered once she graduates. She also recently completed a Bachelor of Science Honours degree and has spent the last 7 years working with dogs in different capacities ranging from boarding to training!

Carly discovered her love of dog training when she got her dog, Cooper, and they now compete together in dog sports, agility trials, and competitions. Carly also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Nathan, who similarly shares a passion for dog training. Their dogs are besties and spend most of their time together.
